It was "bittersweet" he said. He is definitely glad to be done but will always have good (and some not so good) memories to look back on.
Our weekend always start on Saturday night since he has always had to work Saturday during the day. And since this was still a full week of work for Wes, this week was no different. But we did take the time to enjoy it and enjoy just being together.
I have been doing so much better with taking pictures lately. Wes is actually starting to get annoyed at me whipping out my camera in the middle of dinner...church...haha Get used to it, honey! :)
So here is our weekend recap:
Saturday night, we wanted to celebrate Wes' last day and my finishing up school so it was a date night (long overdo!) for us to Charleston's. This also happens to be where we went on our first date, two and a half years ago. Crazy how fast time flies...
Begin the pictures where Wes started to get embarrassed because I wanted to take more pictures. :)
I was lucky to get this one, he was done taking pictures after this!
Sunday morning was church as usual. Wes hardly ever dresses up this much for church so I had to capture the moment. :)
Can't ever have enough pictures of us. I am a lucky, lucky girl. Just look at that smile. <3
Sunday night started Vacation Bible School at church. This was our first year to volunteer and even though we went home each night completely exhausted, we had a good time and enjoyed being a part of God's ministry. The theme this year: Get the Word Out!
The sanctuary decorations looked great!!

Outdoor games were a hit!
Overall, it was a very busy but very good weekend. The rest of this week had been the same, busy...busy...busy.... VBS ends tonight with Family Night. Should be lots of fun!
Wes has been able to book a few sessions in the studio this week which is great. We've been brainstorming all week about ways to improve the studio both on the business side of things and also design wise. Changes most definitely for the better.
As Wes and I were talking today about all the "visions" we have for the studio, we both realized just how blessed we are to be where we are at in our lives right now. God has truly blessed us and guided our paths every step of the way. From how we met, to getting married, to getting into and finishing nursing school, to giving Wes a great job to support us, and now to this new adventure of the beginning of two wonderful careers.
There is no doubt in my mind that God's hand has been over our lives since the very moment we met. We have been able to not only grow together in love as a couple, but have also grown together in Christ. What an awesome feeling it is to have a spouse who strives to live their life for Christ on a daily basis.
God is SO good!!
